CHILDREN’S CLASSES

For the benefit and convenience of the judges we suggest that the name of the exhibitor and the name of the school be written or attached to the reverse of the exhibit, but the age be given on the front. Entries must be clearly marked with the class number.
• NB Senior: Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11; Junior: Years 3, 4, 5, 6; Infant: Years 1, 2 and younger.
• Entries taken in the Children’s Tent from 8.30 to 10.30am.
• Entries 20p each. Schools unlimited entries £3.00.
• Entries in the art and collages classes not to exceed 50cm x 35cm.
• Entries to be removed after 4.30pm. Prize money and cups will be issued in the children’s tent at 4.30pm.
• Prizes First £1; Second 60p; Third 40p.
• Two cups, presented by Mr A Lecuas and Mr A R Hobbs will be awarded to the girl and boy scoring the most points in the infant or junior classes.
• The Scarborough Cup will be awarded to the most outstanding Infant entry.
• The Peter Kite Cup will be awarded to the school scoring the most points.
• Cups and Trophies to be held for one year.

Class 351 Handwriting, any nursery rhyme, 8-10 lines - plain paper, no decoration, years 1+2.
Class 352 Handwriting, any poem, about 10 lines - plain paper, no decoration, years 3+4.
