Not long to go now.
Due to the very dry weather we are currently watering the horse show and jumping rings to ensure a good going on the day.
Check the website for all the classes, why not have a go at the Shortbread recipe in the WI tent, the classes are open to all over the age of 16yrs.

- Firstly I'm a very family based type, I love all of them. I have an ace husband and two fabulous kids -and partners- plus two totally adorable grandchildren, also brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, getting the picture of a large-ish family? My extended family live in a field in the middle of the village -30 hens, 7 geese with 4 goslings, 1 turkey and now 4 mallard ducklings. Outside of family life I love my village -Bishop Wilton- with absolute passion. I started my life here, as did my father, grandfather and great grandfather, so you see I do have strong ties to the area. I have lived in many other places, but came back to roost here 22yrs ago. Over the years I have been active in our communnity: playgroup leader, PTA treasurer, communnity correspondent -for the York Evening Press, childminder, youthclub helper and WI member. For the last few years a show committee member..I intend to stay.
