Hi.
I've had quite a lot of work -upholstery and curtain mending- to get done recently so not spent much time on here. The weather in my beautiful Bishop Wilton today is glorious, I've had a lovely long walk along the wold top overlooking the village with my dogs, they have come back quite nettled and tired so are now resting in the cool kitchen.
So, to the new stuff.
We now have the Horse show and Horse jumping entry forms on the website for you to use.
I have today booked the wonderful Mr Billy Bills to entertain us in the late afternoon between 4 and 5.30pm. Billy performs a wide variety of songs including Folk, Country and 60's hits.
If you haven't looked yet, drop by the www.bishopwiltonshow.co.uk site, check the tent classes -perhaps think about entering some stuff- and make a date to join us on the 17th July, we are about half an hour from York. You can either pay on the gate or buy membership via the link on the site, at £7.00 per head or £15.00 for a family ticket -2 adults and up to 3 children under the age of 16yrs, it really is a cheap day out.
You can bring a picnic or buy from the various food and drink stalls dotted around the field.
